Jay Sean hits #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the US Top 40 Chart

Jay Sean has hit the #1 spot on The Billboard Hot 100, on The Billboard Hot Airplay Chart and the #1 spot on the US Top 40. Ending the reign of the Black Eyed Peas with a clean sweep across the board, to topple the single "I Gotta Feeling" from the top of the charts.

For Sean, his debut single becomes his first Hot 100 No. 1. The track also climbs to the top of Hot 100 Airplay with a total of 115 million listener impressions and rises 5-3 on Hot Digital Songs, where is has moved 1.5 million downloads since its release.
 
Before he left back to the US (after appearing on stage with label mate Lil Wayne, on the first night of the US rappers London concert tour) Jay said:

"This is insane. Its just incredible to have reached No.1 with my first release in America. Its difficult for me to put into words. My head is spinning. I've beengrinding hard for the last 7 years releasing records independently and now to havethe biggest record in the USA this week, its just a dream come true."
