The lead single off Jay Sean's NEW album, "Down" feat. Lil Wayne has achieved platinum status by selling over 1 million units in the US.

The single continues to dominate the radio airplay charts (with over 16,000 spins last week alone) as well as holding firm on The Billboard Hot 100 chart at #2. As well as remaining in the Top 5 iTunes chart for over 2 months now.

Jay also holds a duel entry on The Billboards, with his feature on Cash Money CEO Birdman's new single "Written On Her", which enters this week at #21.

Jay continues to climb the charts individually worldwide with "Down". Currently placed at #2 in New Zealand, Canada #14, Sweden #15. And continues to climb in territories around the world.

Jay's US album is due in November (entitled "All Or Nothing") and the release of  "Down" for the UK is scheduled for October 26th. With the release of the album scheduled shortly after.
