Adam Wood started working with 2Point9 in 2004 as its in house graphics designer, visuals and video designer and promoted to Graphics Design Creative Director for the labels acts in 2008.
Coming from a background of film and television, and having worked for 2Point9 freelance for a number of years previously. Adam was already conversant with the direction of the various projects; and was quickly able to make an impact and radically alter various aspects of the labels numerous acts
Through ever evolving and innovative design and marketing strategies, such as conceiving and co-ordinating regular online features. Project managing the creation of (among others strategies) strongly designed web properties, stage visuals, music video concept design, regular video blogs (following the artists on tour in the UK and Worldwide). To managing the creation of an Online Street Team and redesigning and streamlining the artists online properties.
Adam was able to provide the artists and the team with a dynamic and profitable online presence. Through his angle of focusing on the audio-visual and visual aesthetic, he has helped create a number of valuable media assets. And make the utilization of Online properties an extension of the artists overall release campaign.
Providing a point of contact for third party interests and other online campaigns, sites, and promotions. Adam continues to oversee the online side of Jay Sean's worldwide campaign and is currently overseeing the companies most recent signing Jernade Miah. As well as all 2Point9 online properties.
Adam and his team are available to provide Graphic Design and Project Creative Direction consultancy services for other companies and organizations via 2Point9 through their management consultancy arm. And can provide services, analysis and strategies in all areas of Music, TV, Film as well as for dedicated Marketing & Distribution companies.
One of his biggest successes has included assisting Universal/Jayded artist Jay Sean in his worlwide promotion campaign. Culminating in a US Billboard #1 hit single, 60 million hits on the Official Vid on Youtube, and 2 subsequent US Top 20 hits.
Adam has been instrumental in assisting the artist in gaining the largest fan base for a UK based artist in his genre on Facebook and Twitter (the worlds Top 2 most popular Social Networks). And promoting and marketing the artists official YouTube page into the Top 20 and climbing, in the UK's Top 100 Most Viewed Musicians OF ALL TIME on YouTube.
Alongside his colleagues at 2Point9 and Absolute Marketing, Adam was jointly nominated for MusicWeek's 2010 INDEPENDENT BREAKTHROUGH OF THE YEAR Award, for their worldwide achievments with Jay Sean & Jayded.
